Mark's childhood involvement with motorcycles led to him training as a motorcycle technician after leaving school and later studying motorcycle repair and general technology at Cambridge College of Arts and Technology. For several years he worked as a technician before deciding that it was time for a change in direction, and following an offer of employment as a trainee welder fabricator (from a local businessman and biker associate), he embarked on a career in engineering, which was where he met Justin.
Whilst learning the trade 'on the tools', Mark became more and more interested in the technical drawing/CAD side of the company and when an unexpected opportunity to train as a CAD Draughtsman in the drawing office became available, he jumped at the chance!
Supplementing his training by studying 2D and 3D CAD at his local College, Mark continued to advance his career. After working on several prestigious architectural stainless steel projects, Markjoined ABC as a Design Draughtsman in 1996. Involvement in larger projects, continued studies and greater responsibilities ensured a rapid growth in Mark's experience and technical knowledge.
Mark and Justin are now co-owners and Directors of ABC Stainless.
